Cloverleaf Here is my performance art piece "Cloverleaf". It is based off of a song I wrote by the same name.

The first genre I want to highlight is psychedelic rock. This style of music is one of my favorites because of the unique ways that they used sound. I like music that can take a sound that maybe I haven't heard before and turns it into a beautiful melody. The Beatles were especially notable in this genre, because of the way they pioneered innovative sound. A perfect album that represents this would be Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, especially the song "Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds". This song uses a lot of psychedelic instruments and tones to mesmerize the listener. To someone today, this kind of music might not seem that innovative but that’s because the Beatles were inspirations for a ton of artists in today's music. The second genre I will highlight is Disco.
